Thanks to all who came out on a chilly Saturday morning to honor this 100 yr old WWII US Army and Navy veteran. We had 16 Patriots stand for CPO Mayes at the historic IOOF cemetery in Georgetown. Two riders came from Killeen including a first time mission attendee, George. Welcome!

Thank you, Don Ferguson, for bringing the flags and water.

The Army and Navy provided honor details and coordinated their efforts seamlessly and looked sharp. The service ran a bit long for a graveside event, but it was a cool day so no issues. I spoke briefly with Mr. Mayes son who said he was impressed by the PGR turnout for his dad, and he and other family members thanked us for honoring him in this way.

RIP CPO Mayes. Thank you for your long and faithful service.
