Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the memorial services for Travis Justin Miller. Young Mr. Miller was killed this past Monday when his motorcycle was hit by a car which failed to yield the right of way. He was a senior at Granger HS.

Just one week prior on 16 Dec he enlisted in the US Army through the Delayed Entry Program with a commitment to serve a total of 8 years of active and reserve duty. His family has a long history of military service, and Travis was very excited to begin his career as soon as he graduated.

Wonderful turnout of Patriots today for our last mission of 2019 in honor of Travis Miller. We had 26 in the flag line formed across the front and down the side of the Recreation Hall, with two riders holding flags at the entrance from the street.

Travis's Uncle Richard stood the flag line with us. We also had three first time Riders and were joined by an active duty soldier.

As expected the parking lot filled to overflowing.

At the family's request we struck the flag line a little early so we could mount up and provide a long and loud final rev in Travis's honor. We did that a few minutes after the service started and departed.

Thank you, Don, for bringing the flags and water once again. I hope everyone made it home safely riding west into that sunset.
