STAND DOWN - Veteranís Day event, Granite Shoals, TX, 12 NOV 2019

This mission is a Stand Down. There are two other missions this day, both in Georgetown. Please see the threads and pick one or both.

Confirmed mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the City of Granite Shoals to participate in a veteran's day commemoration.

This mission is a short procession, refreshments, and flag line for a portion of the ceremony at Granite Shoals City Hall.

Date/Time: Tuesday, 12 November 2019. Event begins at 11 am.

Staging Location: Buck's Valero station, 8037 Ranch Rd 1431, Granite Shoals, TX 78654, at the corner of 1431 & Phillips Ranch Rd, Granite Shoals.

Timeline:
10:30 -11:00 am - Staging
11:00 am - Briefing
11:15 am - KSU for the 1/2 mile ride to City Hall
11:20 am - Park, Dismount, join attendees for lunch, hot dogs and fixinís.
12:15 pm - Form Flag line for about 30 min after which we can depart.

Wx: High 46 deg F, sunny

Notes: Fly your big flags. There will be refreshments and an expected 200 other attendees including grade school kids.

The organizers are excited to have the PGR join them in their Veteran's Day commemoration. Nice riding out that way, and we're being fed, so saddle up!
