Mission Summary submitted by Soup Campbell: We were pleased at the turnout. 13 PGR members were there to honor this hero. Of special note are the ones who scurried up from the 10:00 mission in Round Rock, not the least of which was Don, who even brought his own flag! Several members of the family walked the flag line to express their appreciation for our presence. We would like to express our appreciation to all who helped putting the flags away. We had staked 8 flags in addition to the 13 held by members. A big shout out to Hugh Strawn for helping with the flags and accompanying Soup in the escort to the cemetery. Two big flag bikes worked perfectly since there was no LEO escort.
The biggest and best, surprise of the day was when this beautiful red spotless Can Am wheeled in with none other than the “Paige” himself. So great to see him and have him back in attendance.
