Confirmed mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral and interment services for Mr. Louis D. Miller. Mr. Miller was inducted into the US Army Air Corps in April 1945 and served in the Asia-Pacific theater & Japan for seven months as an aircraft mechanic. He was discharged in June 1946 as a PFC.

Date/Time: Monday, 10 June 2019. Funeral service at 2 pm.

Location: St Peter Lutheran Church, 2929 FM972, Georgetown (Walburg), TX 78626.

Timeline:
12:50 - 1:20 pm - Staging
1:20 pm - Briefing
1:30 pm - Flag line

Wx: High 82 deg., chance of morning showers, cloudy in the afternoon.

Notes: Bring water for yourself and a friend. Following the start of the funeral service we will strike the flag line and stand by to join the short 1.5 mi procession to the St Peter Lutheran cemetery east of Walburg on 972. There we will form a second flag line for the interment service.

I probably will stop at Dale's for lunch if anyone wants to join me. food is pretty darn good.

Five bikes and two cages attend the service for Mr. Miller. At the cemetery, the PGR folded the flag and presented it to Mr. Miller's daughter. The flag wasn"t perfectly folded but it was as good as most. My sincere thanks to Don who went beyond routine with the flags.
