Paul R. Klier, 73, US Army/Vietnam vet, Fredericksburg, TX, 30 MAR 2019

Confirmed mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Mr. Paul Roger Klier. Mr. Klier served in the US Army and Army Reserves from 1969 to 1975 including deployments to Vietnam and Korea.

Date/Time: Saturday, 30 March 2019. Funeral service at 12:00 noon.

Location: Zion Lutheran Church, 426 W Main St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624.

Austin Area Staging: For those in the Austin area who wish to ride out together, here is staging info:
Location: US Post Office in Liberty Hill. 2655 Ranch Rd 1869, Liberty Hill, TX 78642.

8:30 am - KSU for the approx. 90 minute ride to Fredericksburg. No intermediate stops.

Notes: This is a flag line only at the church. Following the start of the funeral service we will strike the flag line and depart quietly.

Mission Summary: Ride Captain Warren Longacre
Completed Mission:The Patriot Guard Riders were in Fredericksburg TX Saturday March 30 to show honors for Paul Roger Klier. Mr Klier serve in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves from 1969 to 1975. Paul Klier served during the Vietnam Era and served on the DMZ in Korea. Paul was a teacher and later worked in the high tech industry. He received a Master degree from the University of Texas.The weather was little cool however we had 15 PGR from Austin, San Antonio and Killeen, TX. Just like other missions the family walk the flag line and thanks us. Thanks to Nicki and Soup for the way they set up the flags.
