Short Notice Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for TSgt Oscar Louis Wheeler. TSgt Wheeler served in the USAF for 22 years. No other information about his service was made available.

Date/Time: Friday, 08 February 2019. Funeral service scheduled at 10 am.

Location: Grant AME Worship Center, 1701 Kramer Ln, Austin, TX 78758. We will stage at the church.

9:00 am - 9:20 am Staging
9:20 am - Briefing
9:30 am - Flag line

Wx: Overcast. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 42 F. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph.

Notes: This is a flag line only at the church. Following the start of the service we will strike the flag line and depart quietly.

We had seven hardy souls standing in the cold breeze to honor TSgt Wheeler today which included two tough hombres who rode there in the 30 deg weather and intermittent sleet.

Many family members stepped out to take our picture and thank us for being there.

Thank you Don for posting the flags by the street.

RIP Sgt Wheeler, thank you for stepping forward all those years ago.
