This was the 3rd of 3 PGR mission today, this one overlapping another requiring some "Semper Gumby". Nicki & Soup went to the FH early to stage flags at the entrance because of visitation prior to the service. 14 of us then formed a flag line in front of the FH. Members of the family spoke with us relating how much Mr. Yancey would have love our respectful honoring of him. They went on to tell us more about their father & what took place to get full honors for him at the cemetery. Wow.
Because of another interment at the same time, all but 2 of us went on to the cemetery to help with both flags lines their. The remaining 2 PGR members joined the procession in front of the coach to further honor Mr. Yancey & his family.
We then joined other PGR members on the cemetery flag line for military honors & interment of Mr. Yancey. At the conclusion, we carried our flags across the cemetery to join the flag line of the 2nd service.
A big big thank you to Nicki, Don & Warren for organizing both flag lines, showing once again, the power of Patriotic service. The whole group that stood today with such honor & respect, tells everyone, love of our country & it's heroes is not forgotten.
YBIC, Keith "To the world U might B 1 person, But to 1 person, U just might B the world."
