Confirmed mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral and burial services for Mr. Patrick Meuth. Mr. Meuth served in the US Army from 1958 to 1960.

Date/Time: Thursday, 12 July 2018. Funeral mass at 10:30 am

Location: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4045 FM 535, Bastrop, TX 78602. Though a Bastrop address this is in Rockne. We will stage at the church.

10:00 am - Flag line

Wx: Hi 94 deg, partly cloudy

Notes: Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Sunscreen recommended. Following the start of the funeral we will strike the flag line and relocate to the adjacent Sacred Heart Cemetery to prepare to stand a flag line for the burial service immediately following.

Great turnout for a short notice outlying mission. Thanks again to the 10 (11 including me) who were there to honor Mr. Meuth and his service to our nation. Pulling double duty both in the flag lines and as flag wranglers Nicki and Soup Campbell took good care of us by having water available for the crew.
