Thankful there were six of us to participate in the Memorial Service for Mr. Hogsett. Semper Gumby- The memorial service was originally planned to include playing of taps by an authentic bugler and a flag presentation ceremony to Mr. Hogsett's widow by an Army Honor Guard. The request for an Army Honor Guard was denied 11th hour because military honors had been provided at Mr. Hogsett's funeral service that was previously held in Lufkin. The Bugler was in attendance and at the request of the family the Patriot Guard conducted the flag presentation ceremony. Thanks to Soup and Nicki Campbell for marking the long driveway entrance with flags and placing others along the fence at the facility. As windy as it was it made a real nice display.
