Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Mr. Rickey Davis. Mr. Davis served in the US Air Force from Dec 1971 to Sep 1972, leaving the service as a Airman First Class. He also served with the Austin Police Department.

Date/Time: Saturday, 10 February 2018. Funeral service scheduled for 12 noon.

Location: New Lincoln Baptist Church, 2215 East 8th Street, Austin, TX. We will stage at the church.

Wx: Hi 49 deg, cloudy

Notes: Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. This is a flag line only at the church. After the start of the funeral service we will strike the flag line and depart quietly.

6 of us arrived to stand the flag line w some having to ride through rain to get there. What a great group of patriots. The family arrived via a big bus & shortly after they all got inside, I dismissed the line so they could head to Elgin for the 2ns mission. We were thanked by several folks including some members of the APD.
