Andrew Covarrubias, 70, US Army/Vietnam veteran, Hutto, TX, 08 FEB 2018

Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Mr. Andrew Covarrubias. Mr. Covarrubias served in the US Army Infantry from July 1968 to Feb 1970, including almost one year in Vietnam. He also served in the US Air Force Reserves. He left the Army with the rank of Sergeant.

Date/Time: Thursday, 08 February 2018. Funeral service scheduled for 10:00 am.

Location: St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2500 Limmer Loop, Hutto, TX 78634. We will stage at the church.

9:30 am - Flag line

Wx: Hi 65 deg, partly cloudy

Notes: Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. This is a flag line only at the church. After the start of the funeral service we will strike the flag line and depart quietly. Burial will be on Monday, 12 Feb, 11:15 am at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. The SAPGR will attend,

Although cold, 8 of us showed up to honor Mr. Covarrubias & his family. His wife sent Sam out to thank us & let us know how much she appreciated our being there. Thank U all for what U mean to our fallen hero's family.
