Wow, what a great turnout for this event. We had 61 bikes, half of those from San Antonio PGR. Thank you to Jean Clark and Melissa of SAPGR for their help today. We stood about 20 in the flag line for the entire event, about 1.5 hrs, having enough riders for relief. It also helped that we were in the shade of the trees along side the seating area.

It was a well orchestrated ceremony. We heard from Senator Birdwell who was a Captain in the US Army and severely injured at the Pentagon on 9/11. Scott Brown of the Scooter Brown band performed a heartfelt original song written with Chris Kyle. https://www.youtu...LlZN2NyLzA

A fighter jet flyover and the military band kept things lively.

The sculpture should be installed at it;s final location by end of January, so make a point to get down there and check it out.

Thank you to everyone who came from near and far for this event.
